The latest trend for fitness
practitioners is to conduct home training. The problem is the
transport of convenient equipment. That problem has been tackled
with the Wince Bar (www.WinceBar.com),
a revolutionary, space-saving weight set. One wince-bar forms
one long bar weighing up to 33 lbs or two dumbbells, each weighing
up to 13.5 lbs. The dumbbells can range in weight from 2.5 pounds
to 13.5 pounds, and in 1.5 pound increments (slugs) that fill
each dumbbell handle. Three separate shafts (the middle 9-lb
shaft is solid steel) make up a 40-inch long bar that varies
in weight from 14 to 33 pounds. Included with the weight set
is an instructional DVD showing different weight configurations
of the Wince Bar including long bar and dumbbell setups, together
with the demonstration of several possible exercises.
The photo below is the Wince
Bar set, with slugs, plastic inserts (used to balance the load
when using only some slugs), and the solid steel middle insert.
The Wince Bar also is an ideal
and cost-effective tool for DI-Chi (tm), Progressive Martial
Arts (tm). Shown in the photos below, the Wince Bar dumbbells
can be used to mimic the sai weapon or two short swords, whereas
the bar can be used to mimic the bo (staff) or full sword. Details
on DI-Chi (tm) Progressive Martial Arts (tm) can be seen here.
