Personal Trainer Certification Advisory Board

The I.A.R.T. is a non-profit certification organization, recognized with the Canadian government as an educational institute. Over the past few years we have expanded internationally, with students in the United States, Great Britain, Europe, Asia, Mexico, and Australia, and supporters world-wide. Our mission is to establish and promote exercise in a clinical environment, prescribing fitness (exercise, nutrition, and sport psychology) in an appropriate dosage/response in accordance to each individual's trainability and needs. Our procedures have made the I.A.R.T. the only certifying body to not only recognize individual needs, but to address them critically. The I.A.R.T. also involves its students in its procedures and developments, such as writing articles for the Journal, bulletin board interaction, undertaking experiments of discovery, and the direction of course materials and updating standards and procedures.

The I.A.R.T. Advisory Board was established to obtain professional opinions and direction. Not all opinions and content expressed in the I.A.R.T. materials reflect those of its board members.
