I.A.R.T. Shipping and Charging
NOTE:
We bill credit cards in Canadian dollars (shown in red). Approximate
USA dollar equivalents included below, based on the exchange
rate of 1.5. For an exact exchange rate "of the day"
visit http://www.bankofcanada.ca/en/rates/exchange.html Contact us in advance if forwarding
a US check since the exchange rate of the day may not reflect
the amount you need to send. Unless
otherwise noted, books are hardcover with printing on spine.
There are no graphics on the front of I.A.R.T. published books;
graphics below are shown for icon image purposes only. Because
of easy access to copy files, we do not accept returns on CDs.
NOTIFICATION OF YOUR
ORDER IS SENT WITHIN 24 HOURS OF SUBMISSION.
NOTE: No refunds on Certificatoin,
CD or DVD purchases for reasons of copying and duplication.
ATT: GERMANY - We cannot accept German money
orders. VISA, Mastercard, or Western Union only. German orders
DO NOT include insurance (Canadian post offices no longer offer
insurance on packages to Germany). Consequently, packages sent
out at your own risk. Purolator services are available. Contact
us for a quote (serious inquiries only).
NOTE: All orders will be pre-weighed
and shipping charges will reflect our charges with UPS and the
post office. If you prefer receiving the shipping amount in advance,
or if we regard the shipping rather expensive, contact will be
made prior to charging your credit card.
Registered Mail and
Express Post: All
packages shipped via post office the least expensive manner possible,
unless otherwise advised. Packages overseas must be mailed Express
Post if delivery is to be guaranteed and the package traceable.
We ship regular airmail, but we are not responsible for theft
or damage. We cannot obtain insurance for some countries, such
as Germany and countries of South America. To guarantee delivery,
a courier service must be used, which can be rather costly (larger
orders will make the expense appropriate and worth while). E-mail
us for rates, or visit www.Canadapost.ca for the shipping rates that we
must follow.
Western Union: We now accept money transfers
from Western Union. Find a location nearest you and provide them
the following details: Send to Brian Johnston (phone 705-566-7276),
New Sudbury area, Ontario, CANADA. Once you wire the funds Western
Union will provide you a code or number which must be e-mailed
to us so we can retrieve the funds. Once retrieved, we will ship
your package immediately. Don't forget to contact us regarding
reduced shipping rates on large orders.
This is a secure
site with double encryption.
If placing a large
order, e-mail for discount rates.
Expect 1-14 weeks delivery
depending on destination. Express Post into the USA and Canada
is a 5-day service. We do not return phone calls to provide total
cost (e-mail us) or the location of shipments.
Unfortunately, you must wait a full 14 weeks in some destinations
after placing an order before reporting a potentially lost item
since we must wait that long to put in a claim with the post
office (and parcels sometimes show up unexpectantly before that
time). Lost items rarely occur if shipped Express Post.
VISA and MC orders call
(705) 566-7276 or order from our on-line secure server. You also
can mail a check or money order to I.A.R.T. 5 Abigail Court,
Sudbury, Ontario, CANADA P3A 6C1.
Personal checks held for
30 business days before shipping items.
NOTE: Books returnable within 30 days
of receipt and only if in new condition (subject to 10% restocking
fee and any custom and duty charges accepted at our end for returned
merchandise [always indicate "Return to Sender" on
the package]; shipping costs are not reimbursed). We provide credit only; we do NOT provide money
back returns when purchasing our books because of the quality
of information and trade secrets contained in our materials.
After all, a person could read and utilize our methodologies
and then ask for a return, which is similar to eating an entire
meal in a restaurant and then not wanting to pay. We can provide
credit within 30 days toward the returned books, if you decide
to return said books to purchase different learning resources
that may be more suitable to your needs.
