Iron on My Mind
This latest title by Dave Draper is a
motivational and fun read. So many books on fitness are either
'bunk' with little substance or a bit heavy on the science. Iron
on My Mind is one of those bedtime books that is easy reading,
yet informative as you follow Dave through his many iron and
philosophical exploits. Based on a collection of 62 newsletters
from the 350 published over the years, this book makes a great
gift can be purchased by visiting www.DaveDraper.com.
In Arthur's Shadow
No Arthur Jones fan will
want to be without this book. Gary Bannister, a long-time Nautilus
and MedX advocate has written a 600+ page book that is comparable
to Leonard Peikoff's Objectivism: The Philosophy of Ayn Rand.
What Peikoff did was to assemble Ms. Rand's writings and integrate
the key concepts under one cover. Similarly, Mr. Bannister addressed
all the key aspects of Arthur Jones' writings and research, and
integrated his own education and entertaining stories over the
course of more than three decades of fitness experience. When
read, it will be clear the extent of Arthur's contributions,
as well as Mr. Bannister's. The book is available by visiting
www.CorkHillPress.com,

Anthropometry Technique DVD
The
IART Personal
Trainer Certification works hard to improve and maintain
quality standards in personal training excellence. Obviously
standards do vary among certifying bodies. The same is true of
anthropometry, the measurement of the body, a factor important
in personal training and in other disciplines. Some instructors
do take skinfold or body part measurements, but few truly understand
how to do it properly, such as landmarking, re-confirming site
points, etc. Now you can learn the intricacies of anthropometry
with the latest DVD by Rosscraft Innovations, Anthropometry
Technique. A must have in any serious Fitness Clinician's
library, you can obtain details by e-mailing Bill Ross, Ph.D.

Recommended Supplements
The IART
Personal Trainer Certification is well aware of the supplement
scams and empty promises made in this industry. Consequently,
it is important that we be careful in regard to what we endorse
or promote. Two supplements come to mind: Pro-Stat 64
liquid protein and NanoGreens10 (a concentrated 'greens' supplement).
From our investigations, the quality of both products is worth
investigating. For those on calorie restricted diets or those
wanting to ensure a high nitrogen balance to optimize muscular
growth without the bloat or calories, Pro-Stat 64 is an ideal
choice. You can read more about it by clicking
here. By the way, the retailers of Pro-Stat 64, Nutrition
Direct, also will be selling ProSource Pops... a cool, thirst
quenching frozen pop that contains 10g protein and only 1g carbohydrate,
ideal for a summer treat, whether for children or growing bodybuilders.
Visit Nutrition
Direct for details or call (866) 240-5240.
NanoGreens 10 (fruits and vegetables
to the power of 10) is more than 100% more potent in phyto-chemicals
and antioxidants than the leading greens. It is equivalent to
consuming 10+ servings of organically grown fruits and vegetables
daily, yet contains only 50 kcal. Even if you eat plenty of fruits
and vegetables, it is unlikely that you consume 'all the colors'
each day, and particularly not of organically certified quality.

is the best in its class, click
